Technology and humans have become inextricably linked and often obscured to the extent that it is unclear whether humans have become robots, cyborgs, or the technology they embrace have become human, or imbued with human-like qualities, humanoids.  The neck breaking speed at which humans and technology have merged, and will continue to do so, raises ethical, moral, psychological, religious, and philosophical questions.  

Miguel Starcevich investigates these difficult questions through a diverse range of mediums and modalities reflecting the integration of humanity with technology and vice versa.  Through his creations it is apparent that humans are becoming increasingly unrecognizable and/or machines more human.  With no answer provided, Miguel simply leaves the viewer to contemplate humanity, identity, consciousness, existence, evolution, and what it means to be human in the 21st Century.
